Bubinga is a premium exotic hardwood known for its rich reddish-brown color, exceptional density, and distinctive grain. Its natural color ranges from warm pinkish red and reddish brown to deep burgundy, with darker streaks and occasional figure that give each board a unique appearance. The additional thickness of 8/4 stock makes it an excellent choice for substantial furniture components, thick tabletops, turning projects, and other specialty woodworking applications.
