8/4 Padauk is a bold and durable exotic hardwood known for its vibrant orange-red color, distinctive grain, and excellent strength. Freshly cut Padauk often displays brilliant orange to reddish-orange tones that gradually deepen to richer red, burgundy, and reddish-brown shades with age and exposure to light. The additional thickness of 8/4 stock makes it especially well suited for substantial furniture components, thick accent pieces, turning projects, and other specialty applications that showcase Padauk's dramatic natural color.
