8/4 Osage Orange is an exceptionally hard and durable hardwood prized for its vibrant color, strength, and distinctive natural character. Freshly cut wood typically ranges from bright golden yellow to yellow-orange before gradually developing deeper orange and warm brown tones with age and exposure to light. The additional thickness of 8/4 stock makes it particularly well suited for substantial turning blanks, furniture components, tool handles, and specialty projects that showcase the wood's bold color and exceptional strength.
